How is violence against women connected with destruction of our environment? The future of life on earth calls for uniting those working in
environmental movements and those working in movements for ending violence against women. The goal of this conference is to build networks of
concerned activists, to raise awareness, and to connect new people with opportunities to make a difference.
Keynote Speaker - Dr. Jane Caputi
Dr. Jane Caputi has been on faculty at Florida Atlantic University since 1997 as one of two faculty in Women's Studies. Prior to coming to FAU, she was Professor of American Studies and the University of New Mexico.
